We do a lot of miles, of that there is no doubt. And it’s essential to get the food right to keep boredom and hunger at bay.
David needs treats and fuel (as do I) to make the journey go smoothly. Our trip back to England went a little like this:

then moved on to gazpacho,
and finally, when tiredness is setting in, we had chocolate oat bars for a much needed sugar fix to speed us to the port.
